We're a UK-based travel duo. We cruise a lot, we drink more than is strictly advisable, and we have a slightly unhealthy interest in whether a thing was actually worth what we paid for it.

What you'll find here

Honest reviews of hotels, cruises, attractions and restaurants. The expensive ones and the cheap ones. We lean towards the pricier end of travel, but we'll always shout about a genuinely great deal when we find one. A £45 swamp tour beat almost everything else we booked in Louisiana, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.

We'll tell you when something disappointed us. A five-star hotel that felt like a Premier Inn gets described as a five-star hotel that felt like a Premier Inn. That's the whole point.

How we pay for it

Mostly, we pay for it ourselves. Where we don't, or where a link earns us a commission, you'll see a disclosure at the top of the post, before you read a word of the review. Not buried in the footer.
